DPIA for iConnect Implementation – New Recording Platform for GP Registrars

On August 5th, a message was sent from the Yorkshire and Humber GP School to most GP Practices in this area.  Some may have gone to Practice Managers and also some direct to GPs where they are involved in GP education.  As the messages includes a DPIA that needs authorisation by staff at N3i in their role as your DPO, many have been forwarded on to us.

We do have some concerns about this DPIA for iConnect and need some further information about this which we are currently following up on.

I can confirm that we have informed the sender of the message that as your Practice DPO we would not recommend signing off the DPIA until we get the additional clarification we have asked for to provide assurance around the use of the system.
