iConnect – update

We understand that iConnect have reissued their documentation to practices after confirming further assurances regarding their DTAC and DSPT.

The DPIA template they have provided highlights the areas that need to be tailored locally by each practice. This template provides enough assurance for us to be able to approve the DPIAs, once complete.

Note – On the DPIA template, there are suggestions that the DPO would be the appropriate person to determine things such as retention timescales, varying the scope of the use and communicating with individual users. As these are not the role of the DPO, please edit them according to your own circumstance.
