Federated Data Platform and GP data for HNY ICB

We are aware that some practices have been receiving correspondence from patients relating to concerns about the NHS Federated Data Platform (FDP).

HNY ICB have stated that they are not using the FDP at this time and, in conjunction with N3i, have produced this joint statement that practices are welcome to refer to in their response to patients.

Since we released the joint statement above, NHS England has also developed a template response that GPs are welcome to download and personalise.

Practices can use either of these responses when responding to patients.
