We are sometimes asked about sharing information for Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (Marac).

This document provides information for GPs regarding:

  • high-risk domestic abuse and the Marac process
  • how to legally share data with Marac agencies
  • how to safely record the Marac information on GP records 
  • how to support your patients during the Marac process.

Pages 4-7 discuss how to safely record Marac information within the records of victims and perpetrators and the importance of not allowing online visibility to any references to Marac.
