The DCB0160 for Surgery Intellect (X-on powered by Tortus) can now be requested from N3i.dpo@nhs.net.

Blog – Not using AI? Your IG/Clinical Safety Policy still need this. As many AI scribes can be used from mobile devices, any practices who aren’t using AI need to ensure their clinicians and locums are aware of practice policy.

Thank you to everyone who submitted requests for the next batch of AI products to receive a DCB0160 assessment. The survey is now closed. We are currently reviewing the nominated products to confirm they meet NHSE and ICB requirements for AI tools. We will publish the list of products to be included in the next assessment batch in the coming weeks.

General

As we review which AI products are suitable for a DCB0160 assessment, we will be proceeding with a DCB0160 for Accurx Navigator, an add-on to a widely deployed triage solution with HNY. Practices will be informed when the documentation is available for local tailoring.

DSPT technical information – this will be made available to all practices in May. We will email IG leads with details on where and how they can access it.

Reminders

Data breaches must be reported through the DSPT within 72 hours. If the incident meets the reporting threshold, the DSPT will automatically forward the report to the ICO. Breach reporting should not be completed as part of the end‑of‑year DSPT submission.
