A reminder for all that the deadline for the DSPT is 30th June and the technical information can be found here: 25/26 DSPT technical information – N3i Information Governance.
Here are some tips about your DSPT publication:
- As data breaches must be reported within 72 hours of you being made aware, ensure multiple staff have DSPT access in case of absence.
- To achieve Standards Met (required to publish), you only need to answer mandatory questions. Answering all questions and having your own Cyber Essentials Plus Certification will achieve Standards Exceeded.
- After completing mandatory questions, tick the confirmation box for every section (including non-mandatory ones). All assertions must be ticked, even if questions weren’t answered, to be able to publish. (You are essentially ticking some assertions to state that you are not answering the question.)
- Help links on each question go to the Digital Social Care site, but guidance applies to all NHS providers and can be adapted to your local situation.
- Only your publication status is publicly visible (DSPT Organisation Search). Your detailed responses remain private unless you choose to share them.
