Hello from me
Many of you know me already as I started working as one of the first IG Managers appointed way back in 2001. At that time I had just left the RAF after serving for 23 years with my last job working on the Sentry E3-D aircraft at RAF Waddington. I’m not originally from this area having grown up and gone to school in the beautiful town of Hexham in Northumberland. In the RAF I was a security specialist serving in locations from Berlin to Belize and Italy to the Falklands. In the NHS I worked out of Health Place in Brigg for most of my time, until the transition to N3i, building relationships with many practice managers mostly in North and North East Lincolnshire. In my new role I am responsible for delivering an Information Governance service to all the practices in the 4 Humber CCG area as well as being the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for those that want the service. In this I hope to get out and meet you all as soon as that becomes practical. In the meantime I’ll be pushing out some newsletters and blogs like this as well as running some topic specific webinars. If there’s a subject you’d like me to cover just get in touch.
