Heidi AI DPIA

We have been contacted on several occasions about the use of Heidi, an AI medical scribe. We are aware that it is already in use in several locations, but please let us know if you are using this, or any other AI software.

If you are planning on using AI software, please ensure:

  • You complete a DPIA (you can use this one for Heidi and personalise it if required)
  • You ensure staff are properly trained and are aware of the potential risks of misuse
  • You add the use of it to your privacy notice.
